PHYSICAL EDUCATION
Hi there!
My name is Brandon Rood. I am the PE teacher here at New Covenant Christian School. I currently attend Great Lakes Christian College full-time, double majoring in Biblical Theology/Christian Ministries. I play and sing in a traveling worship team, representing GLCC. I also work at Trinity Church on staff with Student Ministries as the Media Arts Assistant where I do everything from building and coordinating different worship teams and youth outreach teams, to training students in media and musical aspects, producing youth gatherings, and more!
I live a very active life and have experience in a variety of physical activities and events as well. I have yet to receive a college degree, but you will find that I am very passionate about what I do and will do what it takes to accomplish the tasks set before me, as well as glorify God through the pursuit of accomplishing those tasks. In this position that I have at NCCS I have the task of teaching/leading students in learning a variety of different sports, exercises, and disciplines in staying fit. I believe that growing spiritually, as well as emotionally, physically, and intellectually, is essential in fully living our lives as we are called to live them. I understand that every student has their own way that they learn best. Whether it is reading, listening, and/or experiencing, I work hard to cover all aspects of teaching to help each student reach their full potential.
